my son needs black shoes for his halloween costume. We stayed for Halloween in September 2021. He's growing really fast now so I needed something cheap that wouldn't be a problem if he outgrew them in a month so we bought these. He says they're very comfortable. I'm a little nervous the velcro will break (looks flimsy) but it held up at the event and should be fine in the short term. Perfect for what we need.

I ordered a size 3 for my daughter who just outgrew a 2. They are dense, heavy and smaller than the other 3 we have. I ordered a size 13 for my son who just outgrew a size 12. They are very large and larger than the other 13s we have. Both children said they were too heavy and hard. The shoes seem to be of good quality, but I can understand the children's opinion. We are returning both and will try the mesh running shoes.

I was so disappointed with the shoe, I like the look and style, but the material is very durable, especially the tongue of the shoe, it hurts my right foot, I have to push it's out of place and tight so loosen up and then get better. I think I should have bought a pair of sneakers with laces because I can put the shoes on more flexibly. If not for my job request, I will not buy these shoes. Don't expect cheaper shoes to be as good as you thought they would be on many occasions.
