I am a petite woman, I usually wear size 5.5-6 shoes. Consulted online to convert to child sizes and got a size 4 which is a bit large. I had to downsize. However, this does not detract from the quality of the shoes themselves. This is a quality item, even the zipper on the side is waterproof on the inside. They also have faux fur on the inside, which not only makes them waterproof but also suitable for winter use. Haven't tried them in the rain yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

Does the fur lining contract in three different ways? My 5 year old loves them and they work great to keep his feet warm and dry even with the 11 inches of snow we've had over the past few days.
