I ordered a pair for my son and daughter and after two months of almost daily wear they were blown. My daughter came to me and said that her shoe made a hole in her sock. I examined the boot and found that it does not have a footpad (or insole) to cushion the foot. There was only a layer of thick fabric between the vertical ribs of the molded rubber sole and her foot. I bought them when I was an adult. I usually wear a women's size 6.5 or 7 (depending on the shoe) so for these kids boots I bought a size 5. They fit great, a little big for me (if I could get a 4.5 they would probably be perfect), but I am sure if I wear thick winter socks they will be fine. These winter boots are very comfortable, soft, warm and really waterproof. They also have excellent arch support and are true to size.

The cute boots almost made it through the Alaskan winters. Unfortunately for my girl these boots started stitching on the heel after 5 months of use. That was my only complaint, they were warm, kept your feet dry and the butt was tight and held.

I bought the size I thought I needed based on their size chart which said 12 206mm is for small kids. When I got the boots they looked very small so I took a tape measure and measured them on the inside. It was more like 160mm! The OUTSIDE size of the fuselage was approximately 215mm. Needless to say I should now order another pair due to the outside dimensions.

To update. I wanted to change my rating because of the outstanding customer service which is hard to find these days but is still there with this company. They contacted me immediately and sent my son new shoes. Winter is only half over and my son's boots are failing.

Bought these for my granddaughter, she loves them and she can put them on by herself and tighten the lace, easy and convenient. I wish they were there when all the kids were little!

The boot was a bit difficult to tighten around the ankle and calf. Even after about 2 hours of children playing in the snow, their feet were wet. Was disappointed.

These boots didn't even survive a mild Michigan winter on the feet of a 7 and 5 year old boy. The inner heel counter broke so I tried to put in insoles for the rest of the winter but now both boots have holes in the soles. It's frustrating having to replace them when winter is only a month away.

I love these boots! This is my third pair I have bought as my kids are growing in size. They are comfortable and the method of attachment makes them very secure. They do not slip and snow does not penetrate. I would highly recommend these boots for younger children.

I have previously purchased a pair of Dream Pairs sandals and winter boots. These boots were for my son and he loved them. They were a bit large but fitted well for our trip through the snow. Not only that, they looked cute and went well with his snow jumpsuit.

The boots are cute, my son says they are comfortable. The insides are very soft. Unfortunately the quality is terrible. After only 2 months of minimal use, the sides of the zip ripped through the fur along with the top.
