Description of DreamStitch Appliqué Presser Foot by Babylock - Model 718 7313W

Made in Taiwan High Quality Premium Sewing Presser Feet From DreamStitch. ALT: 40080962, 718W, JU-5900-01Z. Whether mastering a technique such as Madeira appliqué or satin stitch appliqué, the open toe foot is the accessory for the job. Similar in appearance to the satin stitch foot, the open center area provides for a clear view of stitching at all times and is ideal for decorative techniques such as embroidery, appliqué, monogramming and cut work. There is a wide channel on the underside of the foot. This channel is designed for gliding over the dense formation of a decorative stitch. ALT: 40080962, 718W, JU-5900-01Z

Perfect Presser Foot for Appliqué

Based on my experience, this presser foot saved me time and frustration while working on my appliqué projects. It helped me achieve precise and professional-looking results. The foot is easy to attach and use, and the clear design allows for excellent visibility. The only con I can think of is that it may take some practice to get used to working with it, but once you get the hang of it, the results are worth it.

Pros
  • Effortlessly adds appliqué designs to fabric
Cons
  • Requires a Babylock sewing machine to use

I can see the needle

I bought this for my Brother machine so I can see where the needle is when I insert the gussets. For that it works great. I find when sewing stretchy knits the fabric can fray due to the open toe, but I find the presser foot does what it's supposed to do. I would buy this again.

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Not sure
