Great product but could be improved.

If I were a designer I would try to make this into a product with even thinner lines but they look great. It is very easy to use and draws patterns very well. Possibly too good, be careful with blue or red on light colors as they don't immediately catch the eye. They're also a bit bulky (IE: thick/chunky), but maybe the artist in me wanted the handle to be thinner. But overall this is a great concept in a new product.

It stretches on soft, stretchy fabrics

I used this to mark the bodice I wanted to embroider. The upper is made of soft, stretchy fabric and the thread has been continuously tightened. I think the rotating part of the razor might be too sharp? Not sure... but it damaged the item. It's also much more difficult to use. It's like the chalk is glued together inside and you have to roll it over a few times to make it crumble on a regular surface before using it on your clothes. Everyone.

Pros
  • Marking and tracing tools
Cons
  • Something else

Great offer; ONLY ONE found in a retail store for the same price.

If you've never used one of these chalk markers, they're great! I have a triangular Chaco liner and have used it more than any other marking tool. I have to quilt soon so I grabbed a set; I really like the subtle pen design. They go well with quilt templates and cutters like Olfa; I've always had calluses from drawing lines with heavy scissors and pencils. I also love the sensory feel of the tiny clicks they make!

Pros
  • Sewing
Cons
  • Slightly Torn

Works but not as well as I would like

I had a yellow Chaco marker and loved it. When I had to replace it it seemed like a good choice. The reason they only get three stars is that some markers can only be used in one direction, which is tricky as they don't always give out enough chalk the first time so you have to go back. Also, this chalk wears out much quicker than the previous marker, so only mark the fabric if you're going to use it right away, otherwise it could wear out when you start cutting or pinning with chalk. lines.

Pros
  • Sewing Tools
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
