A handy tool to always have with you

I bought this to do my 6 month old Pitbull's nails. After familiarizing himself with the sound and feel and assuring him that everything would be fine, this Dremel did its job perfectly.

Great budget Dremel.

Solid purchase, comes with a set of bits but no cutting discs, handles every project I've taken on and amazing RPM range. For example, a small indicator when it needs to be charged. Disadvantages: the feeling that the charge did not last long; ran it on the second fastest setting. Since you're not a fan of its ergonomics, you'll want to hold it in a way that doesn't block the vents (which, of course, is the most natural place to grab). Ideal for pet nail clippers

I've used the rotary tool I've seen in TV ads for years and it's been really economical. I had to press it fairly hard against my pet's claws to get it to work and as a result the grinding wheel often stopped turning because it wasn't strong enough. It took me a LONG time to trim my nails and I could never get them as short as needed. As a result, my pet's claws grew longer and longer. In the end I decided to upgrade and settled on the Dremel Lite 7760. I would have bought the Paw Control model

Is this an improvement over my old 7.2v wireless model? Disappointed.

I had to buy this because the battery in my old cordless tool died and Dremel no longer supports this model. Thanks Dremel. Is this one better? Yes and no. Basically no. USB charging: a plus I think. You no longer need to know where the special charger for NiMH batteries is located. Can be charged from any USB source using a standard cable.
