Dangerous and cheaply made

My TV crashed today because I trusted these anchors to protect it. The TV only weighed 20 pounds, and two anchors properly inserted into the drywall couldn't hold it up. This has done significant damage and now we have to reconsider our decision across the house we've used it. Don't buy them, they are dangerous and untrustworthy.

No drilling required!

I love that you don't have to drill to install anything! This is an easy to use and very useful solution. I don't have a drill so I looked for one because I needed to assemble some things around the house without my husband's help. I was scared at first, but I realized how easy it is. It's like driving a nail into a wall and then driving another in. That's all! Holds up great! I love this anchor and will buy it again and again!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Security

Holds up pretty well.

We used them to install shelves in our hall closet, they worked really well. We plastered walls so I had to drill a small pilot hole, I tried without it first and it ripped this thing to pieces. If you stick them in a thick board make sure you put a little pilot or something in them or you'll burn them out quickly. Once inside they are solid. I used 3 per shelf and it held up a decent amount of weight. In general, they are good and you will not lose them behind the wall like metal brackets.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Having problems

The screws are too big!

You have to be the strongest person to crack them. Even my screwdriver couldn't drive the screw all the way into the dowel. It was funny. It ended up piercing the drywall completely, I had to push hard to try to get the screw more than halfway into the anchor. I ended up having to use smaller screws and then and only then did they work perfectly. I have to wonder how they think anyone can use them. And since I used smaller screws, I have to wonder how secure my shelves are. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not as thick as other lockpicks

Cheap and really useless

Someone needs to explain all these great reviews because these anchors might be the worst I've ever used. One of the dowels seemed to go well into the wall, but as soon as I started driving the screw in, the dowel started turning with it. There was no way to tighten the screw and it was barely 1/4 tight. It was not enough to lock the anchor and when I tried to remove the screw it took the anchor with it. The second anchor failed. straight through the wall and fell through. no clutch. I haveโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • I'll write back later

It's great when cheap anchors fail!

These are good, but only if you're drilling directly into drywall. Half of the ones I've used have made a hole, but then they wear out and can't be drilled. That makes sense since they're all plastic. However, I had to resort to other anchors several times. EDIT: I've increased my previous rating from 3 to 4 stars as I've found it very useful where previous lower quality anchors have failed - especially given that there is already a hole. Because the threads are larger, they easily fill in theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • HIGHEST QUALITY Made from durable plastic that will last for years.
Cons
  • Skimpy Instructions

Cheap plastic mess, gets stuck and ruined drywall where I used it.

Cheap crap ruined my drywall and now I have to buy a metal plate as I can no longer hang my mirror where I have to as those cheap plastic anchors ruined the drywall where they went are and so on Nagel, who comes in now, only crumbles it. Just pay the extra $3 for crocodile anchors. This plastic junk was stuck about half an inch in the drywall and didn't want to pierce through. When I removed it there was a huge hole in the crumpled drywall and now I can't use it. Place. You'll either have toโ€ฆ
