I bought this cable to connect 4MP and 5MP outdoor security cameras. This cable is of much better quality than the cables that come with the cameras. The longest run was about 100 feet. The video quality is excellent. This cable has only been in use for a week, so I can't comment on durability. I will update this review if there are any apparent issues.

I knew before I bought it that it was a CCA cable but all the negative reports are correct. The conductors became so brittle that even an attempt to crimp the ends of the RJ45 could break the conductors. Even for CCA, this is a really bad wire.

that it is CCA copper clad aluminum not solid copper wire. rzunimag. I connected my house outside and inside with this cable a few years ago. We survived two winters in PNW with a few weeks of snow each and it worked out great. But now that I know it's CCA, looking back I would go with solid copper. DO NOT BUY! Ran 3 different 100ft trails. All three failed. All three had multiple breaks. Extremely fragile case and twisted pairs. Roll into the ground straight from the factory. All routes were a straight line with absolutely no twists and turns. Again do not buy.

I am very disappointed at the moment. After driving all 3,000 feet for my CCTV system in my vault, I found that the copper wire was definitely not up to standard.
