My new best friend in the sewing workshop!

I have tried many different markers for dark fabrics and would like to try this one sooner. I've been using the Bohin white ceramic marker for a few years now, but the mechanism that pushes out the 'lead' eventually broke and I decided to give the F&P a try for a change. It's like day and night. Bohin takes pressure to get a good grade or redraw a line, and the ceramic "lead" often breaks. Imagine my surprise (and delight) when F&P White Mechanical gave me a perfect line with no more pressure…

Pros
  • Pencils
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

The lead inside the pencil is too hard. Marking on knitted or soft fabrics requires strong pressure and repeating the mark several times to get the mark on knitted or softer fabrics. With a softer lead, this white graphite marker would have been more effective on fabric and the markings would have been easier to see. For graphite markings on other fabrics I usually buy soft pencils and they are so easy to mark on knitwear or other fabrics compared to this white graphite pencil. It's not just…

Pros
  • Stationery and school supplies
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Excellent smooth opaque white mechanical steppen!

I have had a Fons and Porter white mechanical pencil for a long time and needed the leads but I wasn't sure what size the leads are when they change. I couldn't find it under that brand. But in my search I found this new pencil from Dritz AND Fons & Porter that I have not seen from two brands before. I decided that if I had just received a new one I would know what I needed when it came time to stock up. I found them to be interchangeable but I'm glad I got this either way. I was afraid the bar

Pros
  • Writing and correction needs
Cons
