I couldn't get it to work.

I couldn't get it to work. There is no SD card included, the firmware cannot be downloaded anywhere. Revain's support was useless apart from helping with refunds.

Bon voyage in car and vehicle electronics

Connected to my Binize Android head unit. It was easy to set up. However, at first I thought there was a problem. Until I found out that this camera doesn't work with the stock Android application. It has its own proprietary app that actually works better than the stock app.

Good basic DVR, nothing special.

The software is a bit confusing and the instructions are useless if you don't know how to use the APK. Your Android operating system uses APK to download and install apps from files. In this case, the app files are in the dashcam. So just plug in the dash cam and open the APK installer. Then click on the file in the Dash Cam APK, then the software will be installed automatically.

Works great and easy to set up.

I hooked this up to a 10 inch Binize Android stereo. Plug it into a USB port and install the APK file. While the car is running, it records videos from the DVR to the SD card. I don't think it came with an SD card. Bought a 32GB card. If you need to watch or save a video, I just pull out the SC card and plug it into my computer or phone. ADAS is a joke. It's not Tesla's Autopilot, but it can usually read lanes on the road and determine the cars and their distance. It's not very convenient orโ€ฆ
