Just wish they were still on sale, wish someone would go ahead and upgrade my other speaker that didn't blow up , but clearly not exploded Compared to the standard driver, the sound is just as good.

Don't let the size fool you, this was part of my Bluetooth speaker project and I was blown away. The sound on this is great. The material is good too, I left mine outside in the cold and nothing broke or ripped during installation. Just try.

Natural. Most 4.5 inch subwoofers are not prone to "bass". But I took a risk by going with this model and this company because they were the first to appear on the scene for speakers of this size and were designed to replace computer "gaming" speakers. Worked great to replace the crappy Dewalt speaker used in the ToughSystem 2.0 radio. It wasn't a perfect fit, but it was close enough when using longer screws to hold it in place. Wiring was simple, just 2 spade connectors crimped onto the wires. The radio cover fits perfectly, although this speaker sticks out 1/4 inch more than the stock speaker. The sound quality is also better than the series.

I've noticed that some manufacturers are very lax about the size of their products; sometimes post the dimensions of the shipping package. In this case, DROK states a height of 60mm, measured from the top of the basket to the bottom of the magnet. In fact it's 74mm and didn't fit in the case where I replaced the aging speaker. The original design could have been 60mm but they glued on the extra magnet shown in the product image and used a very nice thick mounting disc. all add more than 60 mm…

Love them. My two vintage JBL M5 shelf rings with two foam rings (woofers) have rotted with age. They have 2.2kHz crossover tweeters so I was concerned they would sound muffled between 2kHz and 3kHz as the specs say they are rated up to 2kHz. nope! Ideal! I tried the 4 inch rounds (rated to 5kHz) first, not these, they didn't work at all, very tinny with a JBL crossover. So if you have an old pair of 2-way tweeter shelves and a 4" or 4.5" woofer that need replacing I highly recommend them…
