The seller confirmed that they changed the production

I bought 8 of these towels. The first 6 were of amazing quality. I used them for curtains and they were the only ones that weren't see-through. They were also a nice light brown/white instead of yellow or orange. The seams were very strong. They looked very polished and clean. The last two I just received were TERRIBLE. They are very thin and translucent. The color is ugly orange and the stitching is very poor. I contacted the seller and asked if I received a fake or if they changed their…

Lots of fabric at a great price

Here's what I did to get yards of linen. I soaked the rag in hot water for 8 hours along with 4 cups of bleach. I stirred the water for a few minutes about every hour and then finished the cycle. After the bleach cycle was complete, I washed the fabric again, this time with soap, and then tumble dried. The fabric is all cotton, which is why this technique worked so well. The beige stiff fabric has changed from a brown stiff fabric to a beautiful white linen-like fabric. Soon I will be using the

Who knew you could do so much with fabric?

Very happy with my purchase. After several hours of bleaching, washing, and then washing again, the fabric became very soft. I live in a farmhouse built around 1885 and there is a small room next to the kitchen. Since the house is so old, it is very drafty. I had previously hung a curtain so I used that as a lining and then used sharpie markers to add some rustic flair. I am very satisfied with the result of my project. I made several kitchen towels from the leftover material. I was so pleased…

Rags were a blessing during Hurricane Harvey.

I bought curtain cloths. I received them, opened the box and placed them on my counter. The next few days were very busy with preparations for Hurricane Harvey. I forgot the rags I was going to make curtains out of. During Hurricane Harvey, our roof started leaking like a sieve. My husband started calling me and asking me to put towels under the buckets. I was about to get some towels when I remembered the napkins on the counter. Of course they never became curtains, but they saved my carpet…

love love love! - Paints, wall care products and accessories

Very happy with this purchase! Arrived as described and was washed clean. I put mine in the dryer which caused them to shrink a bit, but I ordered them in a size large enough that some shrinkage wouldn't matter. I ordered 2 6x9 canvases as I needed to cover 2 double windows (about 4ft x 5.5ft each). I cut each fabric in half for a total of 4 panels, 2 for each window. I used ring clips (also bought from Amazon) to hang them from the ledge. You look great! I would recommend them to anyone who…

Love love love these!

Great painting supplies! I wanted to make some draped fabric items that we've all seen on Pinterest. I first bought rags from Lowe, and then when I brought them home, washed them, dried them and hung them up, I discovered that they had horizontal seams down the middle. I handed them back and started looking around. A lot of craft blogs mentioned that Home Depot napkins had no seams, so I went to the local HD, bought some napkins, brought them home and sure enough they had the same horizontal…

I used them for curtains

I used them for curtains for anyone who wants to use them for this purpose here are my thoughts. based on other reviews. YES, they stink and are chewy. You have to wash them, then they will be soft and beautiful. YES, some of the stitching unraveled, but none of the stitching stood out and I was able to trim the loose thread straight. NO, they are not all the same. the size. Some are a little longer. I must have gotten two longer and two shorter. However, I was able to play around with them to…

Perfect for a DIY curtain project!

This review probably doesn't apply to those who use these cloths for painting, but it does apply to those who use them for curtains - please read on. First let me say that Melody and Carl are definitely proud of what they do. When I placed my order I received an email from them thanking them for the purchase and after I received my package Melody sent a polite email - great customer service! It was my first time sewing fabric curtains, so I was a bit nervous. I wanted to bleach mine to make…
