Very effective! I bought these brushes to get into the dryer filter duct. We inherited the dryer with our new apartment and I suspected the filter wasn't cleaned regularly and there was a lint hazard at the bottom of the duct from clothes taking forever to dry. I have this brush and bingo! I pulled a lot of drying lint and debris out of the sewer! If the clog is cleared and the fire hazard is eliminated, the machine will work great!

I like the thickness of this ventilation brush. I barely survived the last one a month before it bent and broke. This brush is thick and long enough to reach the vent on the outside of the house, so be sure to get the full length. That way you know your family is safe from fires. We had a really big problem a few months ago and have a brand new dryer, but our vent kept getting clogged. That's when I started buying them and I'm glad I found these brushes. They really work.

The product is durable and seems to do the job well. It was too thick for my lint trap in a compact stackable package, but when I tried to insert it the trapped lint got stuck and clung to the bristles. I'll save them for hard-to-reach grilles/vents. ie: under the fridge below. Also for cleaning the very narrow space between the side panels of the washer/dryer and the wall.
