I use my dashboard as a trash can. I need a transponder and my disabled number plate on the dashboard. This works really well and keeps them from sliding around on my dash.

Works great. After a few months, the skin underneath seems to have become a little rougher where it sits, but the retailer can't complain about that. I'm just glad it didn't melt like some other toppings I've seen on the market. The handle side has lost some grip, but that's more my fault as I've been moving it a lot.

I like things that can be used multiple times. I'm sure this will work great on your dashboard as it stays in place very well. My desk is slippery and things keep falling. I put two of these on each of my desks and everything on them stays in place. I do not recommend putting hot food on it as it transfers heat perfectly. I almost destroyed one in the process.

I recommend keeping the shipping record so you have a clean surface to keep when moving from vehicle to vehicle as part of a fleet. It is ideal for storage, keys, phone, etc.

Slightly larger than expected but no problem. I leave it on the center console of the minivan so things don't fly apart. It does a great job. The picture provided by the manufacturer is not entirely correct. There are little squares on the top that keep things in check. I found that my sunglasses dig into the little squares and don't even budge when I make sharp turns.

This product works great with some glue. It immediately slid off my car's dashboard, and anything I put on it slid off as well. Use this product to get a visual demonstration of inertia. Oh, but I have one on my bedside table that's flat and my Kindle sits upright on its side so I can read it while I'm lying in bed. This worked great to keep it from slipping. Though I wouldn't trust him on any slope.
