I never realized how bad they were until I swapped them out for another brand. dB attenuation never worked on either device. One was broken, the speakers kept going out. The failed unit killed a woofer. Added a lot of distortion that was visible with an oscilloscope and also audible at high frequencies. They worked for at least one. The sad thing is that there are better options at a lower price.

I really don't understand why they have such a good rating. The sound quality through them is just terrible. I'm using a Rockford PPS4-6 and these crossovers make the lows very muddy and the mids sound like a piece of thin aluminum is blocking the sound. I unplugged the speakers from these crossovers and plugged them directly into the amp and the difference is noticeable. Everything is much clearer. Don't worry about that. They will only make your system sound like crap.

Spending $40 on crossovers wasn't on my list but my sound kit on my e36 wasn't on the list and I've already spent $700 on my system so $40? Yes they are a bit pricey, yes they are THICC bois (slightly low profile), yes they don't have a mount but they are worth every penny. They have custom tweeter outputs and they can draw a lot of current and the whole thing just spins even a beginner can hook them up.

I just installed this 2 days ago after looking at it for a little over a year and oh my god what a difference! They are so cool they turned off those damn tweeters so perfectly it's like I put brand new speakers in! The quality of MP3 music (from your favorite app) is much better, CDs sounded good before and still are great (because CDs don't beat anything in quality). it has to be, you'll be so happy with them and your ears will thank you (if only they could speak)

So I have 4 of these. I know some people like to just put the mids and highs on separate amps. But here's the thing, the -0, -3 or -6 option for the tweeter output on these crossovers is so cool. I mean it really makes a big difference. At -0 you're pretty much set to spl, at -6 you're pretty much set to sq, and -3 is the sweet spot. I run my stuff at -6, I used -0 but my ears just couldn't take it. Tweeters at this level will pierce your eardrums. Anyway, back to the review, they look very…

I only gave these crossovers 1 star because they are so LARGE almost all of the speakers won't fit anywhere. I plan to install them closer to the amp and run cables to both components. Unless you have a really big room where the speakers will be installed. I'd like to see at least a pack of properly sized screws, but then it's "professional audio," so it's not uncommon not to see installation material.
