From spaghetti to organized

Brought my network of spaghetti to orderly and clean; see photos before and after. Very easy to install. I opted for a horizontal patch panel so that I can route cables from both sides. The circuit diagram for punching is easy to understand, I chose circuit sequence B as my sockets were already wired in this plan (should match at both ends). I wish I had done this many years ago.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are doubts

This patch panel was easy to install

This patch panel was easy to set up, gave me all the connectivity and fit in the network box we had in our house. Our builder used Cat5e throughout and simply connected the center wires together, effectively giving us phone lines. I separated them, added this patch panel and installed a TP Link switch to connect every room in the house to the network. You will need a 110 die set. I used an inexpensive one handed die and it worked fantastic.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Updates available

It works. The best in computers and accessories

Hey it works, it's a less expensive choice. I have used them in the past when there were no others. So yes, good value for money. But if you want to spend more and get something a little prettier and easier to organize to pierce through, look at other alternatives. . But if price is a key driver, this will work well.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Faulty

Not bad Computer Accessories & Peripherals

Got this to wire up my basement and it did a decent job. The pinout is a bit odd, two pairs on the left and two on the right. So you need to make sure the cable is dead to fit within the half inch tolerance. I wish the labels were interchangeable, but that's no big deal. Good value for the port at just over a dollar.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • No paint needed

It's decent Best in Computers & Accessories

This worked great for my situation. All phone lines were run to the distribution block with cat5e. I just cut them out and hammered them into the patch panel. It fits perfectly into the existing space. My biggest complaint is that more expensive patch panels have better color coding on the die block itself, making them easier to patch. There is a color choice here, but not directly at the connection point. Don't do what I did and punch it with standard B without first checking how the ports…

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Clarity

The DShot patch panel with 12 ports UTP CAT6 is great!

A few months ago I installed this CAT6 patch panel in my On-Q multimedia housing. Installation was easy after a bit of research into hooking up the ports on the back. I was able to find a schematic online and with that I was able to install it correctly. I have attached a photo of me die cut to 568B standard. I am also attaching a photo of how it is mounted in my case.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons

Easy to use and keeps everything clean.

It was perfect for my house. I'm a plumber by trade, but it was easy to figure out. But. For the average homeowner. Make sure you check how your CAT5 cable is connected around your home. I don't know all the right terms. but I used the color code B on the panel. this is a bit confusing at first glance. But once the first set of wires is in the same breath. I added some photos just because I like how it turned out. Hope this helps someone
