
This worked great for my situation. All phone lines were run to the distribution block with cat5e. I just cut them out and hammered them into the patch panel. It fits perfectly into the existing space. My biggest complaint is that more expensive patch panels have better color coding on the die block itself, making them easier to patch. There is a color choice here, but not directly at the connection point. Don't do what I did and punch it with standard B without first checking how the ports connect in the wall. It turns out I'm going to redo the ports in the wall now too.
