Reliable and Fast Serial Communication

Through trial and error, i found that this product delivers reliable and fast serial communication WITHOUT any interruption. It is easy to install and use, making it ideal for industrial electrical applications... The build quality is excellent and the connectors are sturdy ensuring a secure connection. One downside is that the cable length may be a bit short for some setups. Overall, this is a great product that I would highly recommend for anyone in need of a reliable serial communication…

Fantastic null modem cable for the price!

This cable is what you need when you just need a basic TX/RX crossover cable and don't have an Allen-Bradley 8-pin mini-din cable handy (or you just don't want to use one). It's 5ft long AND shielded as advertised and works well in RS232 and DH485 mode (tested with Keyspan USA-19HS and AB 1747-UIC respectively). The pictures more or less speak for themselves; no lost packets. For $7 you could do a hell of a lot worse.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Something's Wrong
