Review on DTECH RS232 Serial Female Communication by Sidewinders Rains

This cable is what you need when you just need a basic TX/RX crossover cable and don't have an Allen-Bradley 8-pin mini-din cable handy (or you just don't want to use one). It's 5ft long AND shielded as advertised and works well in RS232 and DH485 mode (tested with Keyspan USA-19HS and AB 1747-UIC respectively). The pictures more or less speak for themselves; no lost packets. For $7 you could do a hell of a lot worse.
