Excellent range - radios

Long range! We achieve at least twice the range of our UHF radios that we use on the construction site. And that through several concrete and steel walls. The only complaint was that they weren't that easy to program, but that could have been operator error.

Pros
  • CB and radios
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Great Cruise Ship Radio

I bought these digital radios for use on a cruise ship and they worked great. They could transmit crystal clear voice from deck one to deck 15 and both radios were on the ship at the time of the transmission. They also had a long range when in ports. I had several DLR 1020s and the DTR 700s paired well with them. These radios are far superior to the Motorola Talkabout (FRS/GMRS) series for cruise ship use, although they are much more expensive than the Talkabout, but you will be much happier…

Pros
  • Portable Audio Video
Cons
  • Long Delivery Time
