Review on πŸ“» Motorola DTR700 Digital 50-Channel Two-Way Radio in 900 MHz Range by Jeff Alradwan

Great Cruise Ship Radio

I bought these digital radios for use on a cruise ship and they worked great. They could transmit crystal clear voice from deck one to deck 15 and both radios were on the ship at the time of the transmission. They also had a long range when in ports. I had several DLR 1020s and the DTR 700s paired well with them. These radios are far superior to the Motorola Talkabout (FRS/GMRS) series for cruise ship use, although they are much more expensive than the Talkabout, but you will be much happier with them. They're easy to program once you've bought a programming cable and watched a video of it, and can be configured to assign radio stations to specific people and then call them privately. Highly recommended for cruises.
