👢 Dublin Holywell Tall Riding Boot Review

Overall I'm happy with these boots so far. I usually wear a 7.5 (ordered and sent back) but had to increase the width to an 8. The calves are narrower than expected. The leather is high quality for the price and I love the look of the boot. Haven't ridden them yet, but don't expect any problems.

I like the style of these boots but they are NOT very comfortable for long periods of time. It closes slightly around the ankle, so the zipper on the back rubs against the skin. I always have to wear thick socks to avoid bruises/cuts. I get lots of compliments on them but I find them comfortable. I still love the style so I'll keep suffering.

I think these boots are great! Unfortunately I have to send them back. they are soft on the outside. I ordered a 7 1/2 which is my normal size, the foot is perfect for a small space but the calf was too big, my calf size is 13" and they were a standard size so I need boots that offer slim. I recommend measuring your calf. I'm almost 5ft 3" tall and 16" from heel to knee. It was a bit high but if you sit in the saddle you'll be fine.

I have had a pair of Dublin short riding boots for 10 years and they are the most comfortable I have ever had. They were made in Ireland. These high field boots are made in India but from the same brand. They are soft, comfortable and fit perfectly. Yes, they do feel a bit long, but that's normal with tall leather riding boots because when you ride in them, they wrinkle around your ankle, shortening and taking the shape of your feet. I love my new boots and look forward to using them.

So well made, so beautiful and detailed with character. Take a tape measure and measure. In earnest! I cried when I could not attach the cabin without pain and the caviar did not fit, although my legs were in shape. If they had a 2cm strip of stretch fabric or what they have, they would actually stretch a lot more legs. I'm 14 inches at the widest point.
