Very useful product for leaking pipes!

Fantastic cover for leaky pipes! The adhesive part is very chic and the fact that you can easily cut it with scissors is fitting!

Pros
  • Pipes, Fittings and Accessories
Cons
  • Ultra Thin

The glue doesn't work.

Terrible glue. Immediately after wrapping the pipes, the glue did not hold. I bought 4 packs and had to go back and read each whistle individually. It was a waste of time and shouldn't have happened. Terrible.

Pros
  • Rough plumbing
Cons
  • Boring packaging

Ideal for covering exposed pipes in a raw basement

I used this to cover cold and hot water pipes in our raw basement. Worked very well! The portion you cut will be sticky to hold the pieces together, so only remove the yellow tape as you work, not all at once.

Pros
  • Pipe Insulation
Cons
  • old

Every little thing counts

Many articles claim that pipe insulation is only used to prevent the pipes from freezing. But for me it has helped lower my gas bill because there is less heat loss which means less hot water heating. I put something on the water supply line and the house supply line to keep both paths warm. This may vary from person to person, but it's a good investment.

Pros
  • Tools and household goods
Cons
  • Some disadvantages
