I got this one because it came with right angle SMA connectors. It has been in service since tracking communications with America and broadcasting DMR indoors. Zero bias is required for less than 1% er. A good thing.

I spent 3 days trying to get this to work. The hint as to which modem to use is incorrect. Use DV_Mega Raspberry Pi Hat (GPIO). I use it with Pi Star. Dual access point is definitely a plus. I'm glad I bought a dual AP instead of just one. The benefit I see is that I can potentially use it with two radios. But the big advantage, and I use it, is the fact that I can disconnect from the talkgroup even if people don't give gaps between transmissions.

Please be patient when adjusting the offset and transmit level to work best with your radios. Once I dial the number it works exactly like a repeater in a much more portable package. Pair it with a full-size Raspberry Pi. For this device, don't waste time with Pi Zero. This is my new on-the-go access point, replacing the simplex model.

The first came with c23 in a static bag. The second replacement came within 1 day from Revain! I see the problem in how they package it. Antennas and small knees and risers were put in a bag with a board. I'm sure they move during shipping. I would suggest putting them in another pocket outside of the mmdvm board. Otherwise the second one worked perfectly with pi-star 4.1 and the firmware update via cli worked perfectly.

I installed this modem on R-Pi 3B+. With the help of the modem file offered by the seller, the modem did not work at all.
