Admittedly, he is very young, but very smart and tech savvy so it shouldn't be that difficult for him. Plus, I thought it was more complicated and difficult than the old way. The description on this little remote control car said for ages 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 years old. I bought this for my 2 1/2 rather precocious nephew but when it arrived, the age stated on the box was 6 years old! I suggested if it was too old for my nephew that they put it away for awhile, but the page information was very misleading.

We have nor used it yet, as it is for a child we do not know and are giving it to. Our review is based on how it looks out of the package and it’s great! A little smaller than expected but I’m sure he will love it!

I bought two of these as Christmas gifts and both were broken within hours. The axels are extremely weak. My 4 year old dropped hers from 2ft off the ground and it landed on it's front wheel and broke off. Unfortunately, it broke into so many pieces it was not repairable.My son's wheel also broke off, but I was able to super glue it back on. We got this for our five year old, and he's had lots of fun with it. He's younger, so it's taken him a little time to get the feel for the remote control, but he's got the knack, and spends lots of time having fun with it. It's a smaller remote control car, and not so much like a monster truck, as he ideally wanted, but it still works very well. It is durable, although the top sometimes pops off upon impact, but is easily popped back on. This is a super giftable item, too.

Very cute. Works great not "durable " as in description my son drove it off a 4in step and the wheel back left wheel broke off. I don't mean pop of the the red plastic that the axel sticks into cracked a chunk off so 🤷. Bottom hatch that holds battery is thin and doesn't keep anything out of compartment before the wheel broke my son had driving it through leaves and sand box in back yard that night when I unscrewed hatch to remove battery for charge there was both remnants inside hatch.

I gifted three of these cars to my nephews and they are NOT all terrain unfortunately, which was a huge reason I got them. My nephews don’t have roads or pathways at their house and these did not work on the grass or gravel at all. Also, the transmitters work on the other cars, which is frustrating when the kids are trying to learn how their cars work. Do not get fooled by the rating you see for this car. This car has only brought frustration and disappointment to me and my 4 year old grandson whom I bought this car for his birthday. I purchased this for my 5 year old nephew for Christmas and he loves it! He kept saying it was the best gift ever. He’ll be a pro in no time.The only slight downfall if that when the cab of the truck popped off (it was easy to reattach) it exposed the wiring of the vehicle which could be a potential hazard.Otherwise I’m very pleased with this.

Car itself is nice, fun, easy to drive. BUT IT IS seriously hard to unplug battery to recharge.have to use pliers to unplug from vehicle so I can plug it in to charger. If it weren't for this, I would rate it 5 stars.

My grandchildren had fun with the car, it did fall apart the same day. Pieces broke off on the bumper/grill, so I would say it was not made well.I guess you get what you pay for, next time I will pick a better made car.

This item actually works very well. It’s been dropped and launched a bunch of times and only a piece of the bumper has broken off so far. Only negative is that it doesn’t drive straight and the alignment adjuster doesn’t work well. But we really don’t care if it drives straight.

Great cheap RC car. Excellent turn radius and quick for the price. The remote could have a better range but good for the price.

Unfortunately, this broke on the first drop. We tried repairing it but no luck. The 5 mins we used it, it seemed to work great. I would give it to an older child who won’t drop it so easily. Not toddler friendly.

This is a fun little truck. My 3 year old can operate it pretty well on his own. The cover/truck body comes off easily but clicks back into place. The wheels are plastic in the center and my son stepped on one accidentally and it snapped where the axel meets the wheel. Overall, it’s a good car for the price but it’s not very durable.

I purchased 8 remote cars/trucks for my children and grandchildren to "play” together with but it was impossible because they were all set to the same frequency and you can not change it. Was very disappointed because what we thought would be a great fun gift turned in to a mess because they could not all be on at the same time.

I bought this for my dog. He loves chasing them around the house. This one is great, I mean it really goes and goes. I figured for the price it would not work too good but it goes. Steering is great, forwards and reverse all great. Would recommend. The size is perfect for the inside of the house. Thanks.

I got two of these for my boys (different colors) and first thing I noticed was they were on the same frequency. so one remote controlled both cars. So that was a bummer. But works on carpet, are fast and the range is good.

I bought a car for my boy and girl. Different sellers. But they can’t play together because they can control each other’s car at the same time as their own. Good gift as long as they’re not brought together
