This is a good replacement for tent poles. I actually use them in the garden for laying jute twine and they work great for that too.

I lived for my tent! They were very strong and didn't knock me out or anything like the little piles of metal that come with the tent.

I don't know how I spent the night without her. I've used them for everything including holding dog leashes when camping. They are durable and necessary.

I use these to mount floor blinds that I use for deer hunting and they are much better than the flimsy metal pegs supplied by the blind manufacturer.

I bought them to store Halloween decorations. I glue them to the back of the styrofoam tombstones and they no longer fly around the yard.

What can I say? You get what you pay for. I replace all of my aluminum tent poles and use these instead. You don't need a hammer or rock to pound them. I can just slide them in. They also don't move easily, making them a force multiplier when clipping in your tent and canvas guy lines. No regret!

Better than other brands like this. They went into the ground with no problem, weathered a strong southerly gale or two, and rose without straining or breaking.
