Better than other brands like this. They went into the ground with no problem, weathered a strong southerly gale or two, and rose without straining or breaking. Others I've had were either lost, broken, or the tips came off after just a few uses. They were very durable and none of them showed any use even after I cleaned them. I used them for two tents. One ten berth and one six berth Weathermaster cabin. The bottom was thick, hard-packed virgin mud on a lake of rocks. Both tents never had a problem even in strong gusts (I think at one point we had a straight wind of 40-50mph). Easy to use (press down to lift), easy to clean, easy to store and don't worry about sharp edges like metal edges. I've tried similar varieties for all soil types and rarely have to use metal varieties. Very happy with the purchase, they seem to be of better quality and at a fair price. I will be buying more to have my other tents and camp mates on hand when needed.
