There is no expiration or manufacturing date listed on the packaging or the batteries themselves.

This review is for Duracell Optimum AAA Alkaline Resealable Batteries (sold and supplied by Revain), Product Model Number: OPT2400B12PRT. no expiration date or manufacturing date, either on the packaging or on the batteries themselves. This can be an issue if you've bought batteries that are several years old (and there's no way of knowing if you've had them). Hence two stars deducted as all batteries should be outdated. Duracell doesn't know how long they will last

These batteries were shipped with no expiration date. I called Duracell to find out the expiration date and the rep told me that this is a new product and that they are awaiting more information to determine the expiration date. I tried to clarify again and asked for confirmation that Duracell released this product not knowing how long it would last. The representative gave only general answers, for example, the shelf life of batteries is usually 10 years. I used two batteries and they work…

Packaging error! for AAA

Batteries: NOT as durable as Energizer Li-Ion batteries! These are ONLY the same old "copper tips" Duracells. This new "better" pack; NO! 100% failure! I have a case that I keep all my RECHARGEABLE, disposable alkaline and lithium ion cells safe in.
