I received a battered pack of old Duracell batteries. They expire in March 2023. Less than three years later. Most new Duracell batteries have a shelf life of 10 years. They've been on the shelf for a long time. I would consider sending them back but it looks like I am responsible for the return shipping and the overall cost of the batteries makes it not worth it. my loss

Recently received a remote control to turn the drain pump on and off so I don't have to crawl under the floor. The remote uses these special A23 batteries. Reading online reviews, Duracell seemed to be the most reliable brand with an estimated 5 year shelf life. When I received them it looks like they must have been in storage for 2 years as the date on the battery is March 2023 (now January 2020). I would not recommend buying from the Vine line in the future if they are still selling 2 year…
