Fantastic carpet underlay. I've used Gorilla Grip carpet pads in the past and they fall apart, leaving a mess on the floor and not sticking after a while. This overlay is great! The rough top grips the carpet so we can barely move it to adjust its position. keeps it stable on our hardwood floors. It's also quite plush, so our thinner rugs gained some depth and softness. (Causes no upstands, no risk of tripping). Amazing carpets.

Highly recommend this mat! We just moved into a new house with slippery bamboo floors and my dogs regularly slipped and spread their paws. I needed a backing to stabilize a rug I had just woven for the kitchen and I settled on a 3' x 10' (true size) which I shortened to 8' about to fit on my carpet. The pad holds the rug in place, neither the rug nor the pad moves in any direction and is a pleasure to stand on.
