🏷️ DYMO Standard D1 Labeling Tape 53718: Black print on Yellow, 1" W X 23' L Review

I don't like these labels. I've been using them for years and bought 2 of these in April. I started using them a few days ago and noticed the print has faded and isn't working properly. I've used this look and white labels with black writing and never had a problem. I've opened and printed several samples with both cartridges and both are not printing in full color. I have only worked with industrial tapes prior to this purchase and the backing is really easy to remove by separating with a light pressure on the tape. I needed white on transparency and this is the dymo tape that turned up when searching. It prints well, but the protective film doesn't peel off easily at all. The biggest advantage of the Dymo ribbon is that it prints clearly and consistently as long as my batteries are in good condition. Weak batteries = bad marking quality. I am giving this product 5 stars because this label tape is ok. It does what it is supposed to, however it is NOT PERMANENT TYPE.
