🚲 Dymoece Bicycle Disc Brake Pads - Suitable for Shimano Deore, Tektro TRP (Resin, Semi-Metallic, Sintered Metal) SCP-S - 2 Pairs Review

Replaced pads on my Gravity fat bike that were rubbish. They grab and stop my bike very well. A little noisy and metallic but no squeaks which I really hated on my old pads. IDK they work as long as they work well on my heavy ebike conversion. If they fall apart I will update it. As long as I'm happy (and hard to please, mind you)

The pads themselves are fine. The temples that come with these pads are prone to catastrophic bending and breaking. You can easily damage your rotors and calipers. I had 2 failures (rear and front) within about 150-200 miles of installation. I've never had that with any other pad. I can only imagine what would happen if this malfunction stalled the front rotor. DO NOT BUY THESE GASKETS.

Even after a complete adjustment of the pistons with newly installed pads, the disc will not fit in between. I tried two different bikes, one with a Shimano rotor and the other with a stock Tektro rotor. I had to grind down the gasket material and after a few passes the disc finally fit in between. Haven't ridden and based on previous reviews they should bite and stop well.

You get what you pay for. I was initially surprised at how mediocre the braking performance was compared to the OEM Tektro brakes, even after a break-in. They seemed to stop with a stronger initial bite that tapers in proportion to brake lever pressure as opposed to a gradual increase. After the run, I took them to the trail. after 2 hours of driving, the front pads are already too worn to use them again. UPDATED 6/1/2020 I finally installed a set of these pads on the front of my Sondors Step. They are a perfect match for Tektro Aries calipers and perform as well or even better than standard pads.
