Good brake pads best for sport

Great replacement for Shimano at half the price. I last put them on my bike in 2019 and use my bike daily. I changed them in 2021 and they weren't quite ready yet.

Released as a replacement resin

They worked but after 3 rides they started clicking and then banging from the front. Went back to Shimano. They are listed as a replacement for polymer seals, this can pose a problem. Like I said, they work, but I don't like the knocking.

MARVELOUS. Squeak Problem Solved

This is amazing. I've had brake squeal on 3 of my bikes for a while now. All have xtr brakes. These pads are much better than the original Shimano pads. Just bought a bunch before they ran out or ran out.

Great Value

I was hesitant to buy aftermarket pads for my Shimano XT brakes because I have always used the original finned version but these pads worked great at a very low price. I usually ride organic tires but this time I tried semi-metals and was pleased with the increased stopping power on harder descents and they have been quiet for me so far.

Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

Excellent braking performance for my driving style.

I really like the braking performance of these pads. Smooth, quiet, and they don't block as quickly as the metal pads I've used before. Just snap in and I can afford to have spares for the price I paid for them. I don't know yet how long they will last, but I can get 5 sets more than what I paid before.

NOT for advanced riders

These pads fit Shimano calipers. However, they do NOT work as well as genuine Shimano JO3A pads. They worked great for the first few rides but stopped working properly very quickly. My brake levers had too much "play" when using these pads. I reinstalled real Shimano pads and the brakes worked well right away. Much better performance and the brake lever "play" is gone. Overall I would not recommend these pads. You get what you pay for and when you're driving hard you don't want your brakes to…
