Operationally good but limited utility.

Limited utility. Operationally good. Works well if you just need a simple flexible shaft. No interchangeable collets or collets from other manufacturers will fit. Therefore only bits with 1/8" shank are used, and please don't lose the collet. I don't know where to find another collet for this bar if it's lost or broken. If you bought it with all the knowledge then this is an offer at 1/4 the price of the national brand.

Pros
  • Approximately 1070 mm (42.125 in)
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Attention buyers - cables, adapters and power strips

I'm only giving us three stars because the junk broke before I even used it Die Collet was made of cheaper thin brass which broke before I put the tip in and the collet nut was some kind of plastic not metal and it broke before I used it. I like to build my own tools from broken tool parts, otherwise I'd be out of luck. For those of you having problems with collets I am posting a picture so you can see what I was able to get from a set of dremels that had 3 of the 4 collets that actually work…

Pros
  • Pen grip Perfect for hard work Accepts mandrels up to .123" (3.1mm)
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

disappointed for extensions

I have 30 bits, none of them work and when I try to force them they go crooked. The connection to my Dremel 395 is sloppy at best. The thread cover is too long and unusable. My god I don't understand how it works, how they portray it on the box and there is absolutely no documentation. I also noticed that it says Stalwart here and Hawk on the box. The part number is the same. I'm going to do what I should have done from the start and buy a Dremel extension cord. Follow-up: I know why I have…

Pros
  • Max idle speed 35000rpm
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
