This cooler does not fit ASRock B450 Mini Itx motherboard

First of all, the cooler arrived in a badly damaged box. When I tried to install it on my Asrock B450 Mini-ITX motherboard, it conflicted with the VRM on the top and sides, making almost no contact with the CPU itself.

Pros
  • Internal components
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Nothing but cooling issues

I bought this fan for my 1U server. The quality is excellent, but there are problems with lowering the processor temperature. My server is very busy with high CPU usage. So cooling is very important. -Very loud fan under load (it's a screeching sound and very annoying) -Server crashes as the temperature doesn't drop below 220F which is not good! and of course my problem was this Dynatron A18. Save money and choose to install Noctua. They will thank you in the long run and make your expensive…

Pros
  • fans and cooling
Cons
  • socket required

Perfect fit for ASRock Rack X470D4U

Been looking for a heatsink that fits the same board orientation for a long time and finally found this one. Replaced the stock AMD heatsink so I could put the RAM in the next slot and it ran great at around 40C with 1200rpm fans. At this speed, the noise is barely audible, and it's only at 50Β°C that the PWM fan revs up a bit more at 2300 rpm and you notice it.
