🚘 Dynavin Double DIN Stereo Dash Kit with Single Row Style HVAC Relocation Bracket for BMW 3-Series (1998-2006) Review

Works well and is fairly durable. Looks OEM. I had to put a plug (VW/Audi pictured) in the socket to clean it, but I think it looks nice. You have to fold over the top mount to install it properly, which was a little annoying at first. The USB output on the top is good for adding an Android car adapter/car adapter to the head unit.

I would give these 5 starts but my bottom USB port is not working despite following the instructions and still not getting power from the USB port. The one above works fantastic though, I connected it to an Android device with a car key! Gives a great look! I love the look and the great quality! Update 8/21 Dynavin sent me a replacement and now the bottom USB works! The rating changes to 5!

Great for installing an Android (Eonon) head unit in my E46. The fit is very good for the aftermarket, although the plastic is a little flimsy and flimsy. I had to fiddle with the cigarette lighter to keep it sealed. Everything works well, including a USB port for AndroidAuto/CarPlay, a USB charging port and a cigarette lighter. Heated seats, ASC/DSC and surround buttons are loose. Dynavin needs to pay attention to this and change the design of the slots. It would also be nice if the cigarette lighter socket was a little higher for people who charge their car via it. The Ctek 4.3 cigarette lighter plug barely fits into the socket without scratching the console. If you have anything other than a thin, round plug to plug into your lighter, forget about using it as a power source. The black trim could also be better…

Looks great in my E46 with the Avin Avant 4 radio installed. I have a wireless CarPlay adapter that used to be in the glove box but now plugs into the USB port on this panel. Not sure I like not having one, but it's now easier to plug in the cable if I ever need it. I don't think it's too flimsy, but it definitely flexes more than factory plastic. Much better than the Metra dash kit but it costs twice as much and doesn't even include a radio mounting kit. The USB works fine and looks a lot cleaner than the glove box cord etc. For $90 I was expecting the plastic to be of slightly better quality or at least as good as what it replaced. It's very thin and I believe it will break easily if you don't install it carefully. For me, the mount was wrong. I believe this will be shipped in such a way that it will not break. Dynavin AC Move Bracket has cleaned the interior fairly well and looks fantastic although due to minor imperfections I would suggest some minor tweaks to the design. The first downside is that it doesn't come with its own 12V cigarette lighter plug, so you'll have to reuse the plug that came on the factory bracket. This creates unwanted play in the cigarette lighter plug itself and sometimes pulls it out when you try to unplug something from it, e.g. a phone charger. The second flaw that annoys
