This is a decent replacement but NOT a Dyson OEM part. It's just a standard third-party replacement. The small Dyson part number logo is missing from the lip. Overall it fits, although it's tighter along the length and each edge doesn't have the snug fit of the original Dyson tube.

Original cracked and vacuum has stopped sucking. You have to lay it almost flat to stretch it enough to pull the old one out. Use some lube on the elbow and eventually it will come off. Installing a new one is the opposite of removing the old one. I had to use some soap/water on the ends to make the process easier.

I have a DC24 Multifloor that I bought in 2012. The lower hose was making a genie so I ordered a new one from here and checked the part number with the Dyson website and everything seemed fine.
