My Dyson got so much suction power from the install! Ours is over 20 years old and was my late father-in-law. Gradually the plastic begins to break. I gradually replaced the parts. Now you need to find the part of the cyclone for DC07. One works for us, but the plastic piece holding the canister is broken.

Works great! In the last 12 years I've worn out 3 hoses, not counting the original. I love my Dyson and am so glad I can find parts to get the old lady back on her feet. My advice: use genuine Dyson parts, not cheap "compatible" versions. My experience with these is that they didn't fit well.
