OptiLash Eyelid Primer Review

I have tried many Elf products and always go to them first before buying expensive luxury brands from Sephora/Mac/Ulta etc. Unfortunately, this one didn't help me much. I suppose this might work if you're wearing very light eyeshadow, but I've found that it causes some streaks and clumps. I'll probably continue to use it as a concealer/primer under my eyes, but other than that it doesn't do much good for me. I've never used a primer before, but I wanted to know what all the fuss was about. Whoa, I missed it! Now I don't go a day without primer! My eyeshadows last all day without smudging, smudging or fading. I can use multiple colors and even mix them with a primer. Whether you have 1 color or 6, this primer is sure to keep them in place. I've been looking for a replacement for Urban Decay Primer Potion and this is the closest I've found so far. It's not an opaque foundation, but it has a subtle tint that helps with the redness on my eyelids. It holds the colors well and I have very few wrinkles. When I received my new product I thought they sent me the wrong shade as it was much lighter than my old one but as you can see from my photos , it is actually the same color. Maybe they changed their formula? Maybe it gets darker with age? Don't hesitate. It's actually the same shade and it goes on just as well as before.

I like this product although there was only about half of the product in the tube when it arrived so it was very disappointing. I think maybe that's why it was so cheap? I'll be lucky if I get a few more uses because the stick is pretty dry already.
