Great small engine plugs

Bought these plugs to replace the spark plugs in a 40hp Evenrude outboard motor. I use E3 spark plugs in all my small engines. They work fine in my 2 bars, they haven't failed in any of my 2 bars yet!

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • So-so

Fits 2004 Yamaha Zuma

Fits my scooter, works great, starts very well now and feels strong over long distances. I didn't know this, but the tip unscrews to reveal the grub screw on top, that was the only way to install it.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Dumped

Excellent candles: spare parts

excellent candles. I've been using them on my small engines for many years. From mowers from the 80's with Briggs & Stratton 3.5hp 4hp Wisconsin Robin 4 and 2 stroke 6hp Kawasaki. And my two-stroke hand tools. Fuel lasts longer, faster starts and simply better overall performance. I work in a parts store and I send them to customers all the time. Just buy one and see for yourself!

Pros
  • delivery was very fast
Cons
  • other other

Not good for 2-stroke engines

The claimed wide temperature compatibility is not true. They burned out in some two-stroke plugs, which are normally rated for heat range 8 plugs. They burn E3s in under 100 hours, but all the NGKs I got at 8's had no problem lasting twice as long. To be fair, it will still lag the bike at lower throttle, but higher throttle will either limit revs or cause it to stall. I've had these on 4-stroke bikes with no problems, but I've never seen one that was very stable in 2-stroke for very long.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Minor issues

Seems the experts have some application knowledge in these

Bought these for my 1996 Yamaha WB II 760, heavily modified. No fittings, secondary pipes, jet carburetors or secondary heads; because of reliability; but all over a complete rebuild, but all over the original pump with additional options. The release area in the Clymer manual has a large power reserve. I've tuned them many times and always found compromises, but I was never quite sure. Plus questionable in terms of gaps, as the striking tip on the new NGKs bends a little off center almostโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors have popped up
