Great hat! I would appreciate if they made custom caps - I would love to have one of these caps with my boat's name and hull number on it.

This is by far my favorite submarine hat. It has a low profile and looks like lightweight denim but is durable. The dolphin lettering stands out beautifully. It was expensive but it's really good.

Bought for my husband's birthday and to commemorate his time in the Navy. The picture does not convey this. The color is amazing in real life. He had several comments on this hat and it became his new favorite.

Great hat and the dolphins look great. I took off a star for the fit. Although the size is adjustable, the back strap is too small to stay in the slot when sized to fit my 7 5/8 bowler hat. The strap is long enough to be closed, but the end just dangles from the clasp.

I bought khaki. It's well done. Great detailed embroidery. Fits good. Cozy. The tread color of the dolphins stands out normally. However, the inscription in gold thread contrasts little with the khaki color. Friends have noticed the same thing by saying you say hat. The low contrast seems to detract from the intended message of the lettering. I wish now I went for a black or blue hat.

I love the hat! The embroidery looks ok. The construction of the hat is ok, but I expected more from a hat that costs $8-10 less. In general I am satisfied. (My hat collection is over 500 so I have a pretty good idea of how much a baseball cap should cost compared to the quality.) If you like the look of this hat, buy it! Just don't expect high quality. Rather average quality (weight). To get it to the desired weight I'll probably use some otterwax and make it both waterproof and heavier.
