I've used a lot of plastic woodworking spring clips and when they have a point it comes off... and a lot of times I can't find it so I have to remove another one. The tabs are on these hinges and that's part of the problem because they don't slide so they can't be glued on...often one stays on top of what I'm clamping when I remove the clamp.
