Description of Eagle UI-10S Galvanized Drum with Increased Capacity and Diameter

Type I safety can used to store, transport, and dispense flammable liquids safely; has single spout for filling and pouring. Made of galvanized steel, which is resistant to rust, dents, and certain chemicals; powder-coated finish resists scratches, chipping, fading, and other wear. Flame arrestor helps prevent liquids inside the can from igniting and keep flames from spreading. Spout cap self-closes to help prevent leaks or spills; cap assembly opens automatically to vent internal vapors. FM Approved; complies with OSHA Standard 1910.106 for the safe storage and handling of flammable liquids. Meets OSHA and NFPA Code 30 Requirements, FM, UL & ULC listed - Made In The USA. Lead-free, hot-dipped 24-gauge, deep-drawn galvanized steel construction. Non-sparking pour-spout with flame arrester. Spring closing lid with neoprene gasket vents at 5 psi internal pressure. Deep Drawn Construction with no top or side seam.

It will grow for you

We have decided to get rid of our dirty plastic gas cylinders. At first I wasn't too keen on the plastic funnel they work with. I bought the 1 gallon version of the Revain and it didn't have the yellow funnel. You will definitely need this tool if you don't get it with the jar. The same funnel fits 1 and 5 gallon canisters. Much better than vented plastic gas containers now that most gasoline contains ethanol

I purchased this with a 5 gallon Eagle U2-51-S Red Galvanized Steel Type II Gas Safety Can. I doused them both in gasoline and left them in my room in Florida for a few days (day) before cleaning them properly. In all that time I've never noticed even a hint of the smell of gasoline. I bought these when my lawn mower broke down and needed service. Very safe and virtually indestructible

It's a little pricey but they're worth it as they last almost forever. I have an Eagle canister my dad bought in the 70's that I still use today. This canister is made from fairly heavy gauge steel, zinc plated and powder coated for a nice finish. The nose is the best. There is a steel screen in the neck of this vessel that prevents the flame front from penetrating the gas inside the vessel and causing an explosion.
