This product fits amplifiers

This item works! This reduces the amplitude of the signal, which you have to compensate for by turning up the system volume, but the feedback hum is completely gone. All in all a great compromise. Very satisfied with the product

No more ground loop hiss

When we installed the new amplifier in our sound system, there was a buzzing noise in the ceiling speaker. Installing this online device solved the problem. The compact size makes it easy to install out of sight in a closet.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Almost never

They work. - Car electronics

Just depends on where you install them. I tried next to the source and it still squeaked. Took the 1'rca, hooked it up to the amps and moved it to the solo spot and there was very little squeak left. Better go to the store to buy more.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Nothing

Does not affect the sound of the subwoofer!

This is the neediest ground loop insulator I've ever held my hands on. The chassis is metal and has weight. More importantly, it doesn't affect the sound of my subwoofer. I have this to eliminate pops when my truck turns on or off. This solved the popping problem and it sounds great! I tried other isolators and they killed the subwoofer sound. It's not like this.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Crumpled

Sound quality.: Amplifier

Surprisingly good sound quality when connecting my iFi Zen balanced phono output to the unbalanced input of my Wyred 4 integrated audio amplifier. The sound seemed a bit out of phase across the spectrum and bass. a bit reserved for an album or two and then it all came together. Now the possibilities of Zen are revealed - lightning-fast dynamics with a huge soundstage. Zen phono stage at ISO-200.

Cleaned almost all hum, very good build quality

Looks and feels very high quality. The ability to turn your own RCAs on and off is a huge bonus when your setup is visible. After installing the Dayton DSP-408 I had a TON of hum coming through all the speakers. I have tried grounding on all my amps and even other things in the car but nothing has worked. Once I lined it up with the RCA INPUT DSP, almost all of the buzz went away. There is still a very high pitched hum, but this product performed better than I expected. I would advise trying…

Operation as described in Automotive and Vehicle Electronics section

After upgrading the speakers from Definitive BP20 to Cornwall IV, all sound is picked up by these sensitive 102dB speakers. I wasn't sure if an ARC LS2 replacement 6922 tube is needed as the Parasound A21 is most likely not the culprit. On the Willsenton R8, the hiss/hum became louder when the music stopped. The wall outlet that the unit is plugged into is on the same line as the air conditioner outside. AC filters of different brands did not help. This device does little to no noise…

Pros
  • Rugged finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Solved groud loop hum and hum in my home theater!

Lifebelt. I did a pretty expensive upgrade. Added: Panamax 5400 Amplifier, Parasound Halo Integrated AM Amplifier and Outlaw 5000 Amplifier. Everything is connected to Panamax, TV, DAC, CD Player, Blue Ray Player, Roku, Modem, Router and Switch. I connected my Denon amp to the Halo via a home theater bypass and noticed an awfully loud hum. Also very faint hum from all Halo inputs. I found that the source of the ground loop noise was my router connected to a TV, Denon, Roku and Blue Ray player…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires outlet
