The product was impregnated with some kind of chemical. Although it didn't feel wet, it had a VERY strong chemical burnt smell that made my throat scratchy. I tried to air it but it didn't help. There was no way I could put it in a closet without it transferring the smell to my clothes and degrading the air quality. I don't understand how they can't hurt an expensive purse.

These bags are great for storing my bags. I needed something that actually felt like it wouldn't fall apart or even look tasteless. Bought for my new LV bag. The 3 size option was good. I would recommend washing it a few times before putting your bags in as there is a small amount of black left on the red parts of my bag. It looked like the fabric was rubbing against the pocket. I was able to easily remove them with no problems. I can fold the dust cover and carry it in my bag to use at any time.
