Good quality product

Well the inspection finally marks me for not having a catalytic converter πŸ˜’ so I bought this catalytic converter, it fits my 88 Jeep Comanche perfectly, It seems to work well, I would buy it again if needed.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • I have no dislikes, everything is fine

Good converter at a good price

Installed on a 1995 Jeep Cherokee, postman, worked great. No more strong smells, took a while to get used to but once I had no problems and it didn't mess up my O2 sensor so hopefully it will last a long time.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Not the best

This thing passed my emissions test, I don't ask for more! My mechanic had to weld flanges to it so keep that in mind. I had to shell out an extra $100 for the inconvenience, but performance-wise, I highly recommend it. This fits my '95 2-door Honda Civic coupe with a custom 3 in the exhaust!

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • I don't remember

The quality is not the best

The catalytic converter worked fine for about 10 months. After that, it started to rumble, poorly filtered toxins, and my jeep lost power a bit. My guess is that the filter has fallen apart internally and is interfering with the exhaust system a bit and that's why it's rattling. The particles just tremble there. I contacted the seller to see if they had a guarantee but they didn't reply. I would avoid them and choose one that has a warranty or is better made.

Pros
  • Surprising

Failed after 1.5 years

I bought and installed this in February 2016. Went in with no problems and worked fine until last weekend. I started hearing a rumble and my jeep struggled to accelerate. I pulled out the converter and completely separated the stones inside from the case. I have messaged the seller but it looks like they will need to ship both ways IF they will honor the warranty. It's not worth it. I understand why this converter is sold at such a low price. It's disposable. I had to get back on the road so I…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I won't say anything
