Glad to save costly service by replacing faulty hoses (strange filters built into old hoses reduced water pressure and caused IE error on washing machine). no leaks. I love that they are color coded with blue and red thread to indicate cold and hot lines.

This is one of the few products made to last. I expect it to last 10 years or more (most are replaced every 5 years), made of high quality stainless steel and won't cause water hammer. High pressure and flow, smooth oil adjustment with brass nuts!

These hoses are leaking. The leak was just behind the threaded ring so at first I thought it was flowing around the washer until I dried everything, then I saw that the leak started where the silver colored knurled fitting meets the brass nipple. Looks like a manufacturing defect. Replaced hoses with BrassCraft, everything worked with no leaks.

Eastman 48371 Braided stainless steel washer hoses are high quality in my opinion. A few tips: if time permits, remove from the packaging and gently straighten (or hang vertically overnight) to loosen the curls. I've found the o-ring to be clean and seated properly, then hand tighten and use channel blocking pliers to gradually tighten (emphasis on gradually), then check the next day for tightness (after the o-ring compresses a bit) - prevent any leakage.

Recently our old hoses that came with our washing machine burst and we have suffered a lot under water. After reading this further it is obvious that most hoses need to be replaced every 5 years! I wish I knew that sooner. I came across them and they are great. They are made from durable stainless steel and come with a lifetime guarantee. Replacement every 5 years is not required.
