Works as it should

I gave 5 stars for value, cleanliness and warmth. It works as expected, as does the safety valve on my propane water heater. I would give 6 stars for warmth if that option was available.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Some minor issues

Works at a reasonable price

Replaced pool solar safety valve which was 6 years old. Works perfectly, let's see how long it lasts. If I get 6 more years I'm very happy, if I only get 3 I'm still happy The price is reasonable.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Replacement available

Exactly what the plumber ordered.

I put this on my water heater. If you are not able to facilitate priming with the water turned off, priming can damage the glass liner in the tank. It is necessary. This is affordable insurance for an expensive water heater.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Transparency

Best safety valve for pipe fittings

I was trying to use an old pool pump I had as a lawn sprinkler pump, the pump was losing pressure every day and after fixing the problem I found that the water in the sump was leaking through the sprinklers when the pump was off so I added this vacuum breaker. This is the best money I've spent because I bought an actual sprinkler pump that cost anywhere from $300-$500.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • I'll write later

Worked better than the 'lead brand' sold in big stores

When I installed the new water heater I bought an expensive 'lead brand' vacuum circuit breaker from Home Depot. It has been dripping water from day one, resulting in a build up of unsightly mineral deposits around the intake manifold. So I decided to replace it with one of those half price Eastman valves from Revain. I am happy to report that after the first few months there are no more leaks. Now I will use the Eastman brand.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Minor repairability
