I'm always hot and I always need some air movement around me. I travel a lot and this works great for planes. that's where I use it the most. This little fan is powerful. It could certainly be a little quieter, but I don't think it will bother anyone around you. The folding handle creates its own little stand and makes it portable. I took this to India because of the heat, but we also went to a few places with not-so-pleasant smells where it came in handy. Very easy to charge and use.

I have several portable fans. I got this one based on the 23 hour battery life, not the 8 hours of the other two I have. I love these portable fans! I take them everywhere and am their walking saleswoman. I should own shares in this company. I have bought at least 50 fans of this type for myself and friends in the last 3 years. We are all in the hot flash phase of life! This one is my favourite! I left it on for over 8 hours yesterday and it never had to be charged. It's so quiet here. I wore it during the wedding ceremony and the people next to me didn't even notice until they felt a little cool breeze. This will be my transition to the brand. I bought this for a trip to Disney World and I use it all the time! It's such a lifesaver and easy to carry. I've had several people asking me where I got it and even trying to steal it. I highly recommend buying this fan! UPDATE: I also use this fan during rehearsals/shows at our local theater. It's quiet enough not to be heard backstage, yet powerful enough to keep you cool. My castmates are constantly passing my fan around for a quick cool down, and some have even bought their own.

It was a durable and remarkably efficient fan while it ran, but charging was always spirited. It was difficult to connect the micro USB charger and the charging light was not always on. Now it won't load at all, so the fan is useless. Unfortunately this happened just a few days after the end of the return period, so we have a non-working fan.
