very easy to use best suited for other sports

This is a great option to protect your foot with or without a bandage. I use them for overclocking when the horse has an abscess that shortens its life, but the ease of use is worth it.

Broke down within hours

These boots are not suitable for leading horses. They only lasted a few hours, so less than two! Don't use this unless your horse is in a small stall and walking.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons

Not worth the money

I've tried a few other boots and tried this one because it was described as 'more breathable' and looked very easy to wear. I have a horse that has faltered, very limited involvement due to a hoof ulcer. Broke in one day. Don't waste money.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • No automatic

Ideal for protecting bandaged hooves

Durable rubber outsole. Tight velcro closure. My horse has a bilateral chronic hoof abscess with hospital plates, elastic and tape. It can't get wet and these easy on and off boots allow for voter turnout. I have used other brands but they are better and although expensive they are worth every penny.

Pros
  • Superior construction

Not in the dirt

I can't rate this product well because I don't have anything to compare it to. It was worn on my horse's front hoof to protect it from a cut that required stitches. Unfortunately, it only lasted two days and fell apart. The bottom came loose from above. To be fair we had a lot of rain and it may have caused enough suction going through the mud to cause this damage.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Discontinued

Amazing boots, the best in equestrianism

I love these boots! I have 2 years with a terrible abscess. She was in a movie with this boot for 3 months. Easy to put on and take off and lasts! Canter, spin, kick, she did it all. The first boot started tearing at the bottom after about 2 months, but this is in use almost 24/7. I've tried several other types and this is the only one that will stand and hold up through the wear and tear of constant use.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Empty

The given size is wrong!

Ordered size 3 for my horse whose front feet are 6 1/8" wide and 6 1/8" long (freshly trimmed 5 days ago). Size 3 should fit. The size chart shows width 5 3/8" - 6 3/8" and length 5 3/8" - 6 3/8". The boots arrive. The packaging says size 3. Insert made of stretched leather. Measured. Width 6 7/16" (close enough to 6 3/8"). And 6 inches long. Only 6 inches. What? Okay, maybe the material of the boot is light enough that this boot will still work. Reinstall the leather inlay. He shook off his…
